This major recreation area in the Dartmouth-Lake Sunapee Region offers year-round activities. In the winter, alpine skiing is available at Mt. Sunapee Resort, owned by the state of New Hampshire and managed by the Okemo Mountain Resort. Enjoy hiking, swimming, picnicking, boating, fishing and swimming in the summer/fall months. The campground offers lean-to and platform sites for family camping. Mt. Sunapee State Beach is situated about a mile from the campground and offers many amenities. |

The nightly site fee pays for 2 adults only and up to 4 dependent children under 18. All extra adults on a site pay $10.00 each, per night, upon check-in. Additional children are charged $5.00 per night. All additional guest fees are paid upon arrival at the campground NOT when reservation is made. PLEASE DO NOT BRING FIREWOOD WITH YOU. Firewood can carry exotic insects and tree diseases. Safe firewood is available to purchase at the campground for your convenience. Primitive campground. Check in at Sunapee State Beach.Pit toilets/Out houses and water spigots. NO electricity All sites are either platform or lean to. Pets are NOT allowed at beach anytime, anywhere.
